Message i will get this thing started one day
it will probably start in front of a bunch people

Or maybe it's because that's what the turbine was rated for so that's what he said it was rated for? What is he going to do? Strap it to a dynojet? He gave information on what it was capable of and has made no claim to current power after modification.

or he could leave out this statement/subtle inference: "There are some exempt engine modifications (ex. after-cat mufflers - big deal) but none that will allow you to add 1350 hp to a new car. " implying that his bad ass jet car is the shit, possibly creating 1350hp. yes, if his free power turbine was connected to a drive shaft, he could create close to 1350shp after some losses. or he could strap the engine on the back of there and make a flamethrower, since it will not do anything otherwise.

Yeah unfortunately when trying to get people to answer a question and then they don't, it really locks me into one set of rails. However if you're worried about my blood pressure, don't, I currently have my feet kicked up, relaxing while laughing at you.

if you would ask a question in a specific way, then maybe you would get an answer aimed in that general direction.

instead you say things general things like:

His motor does exactly what he needs it to do

nothing? or shoot flames? or give him a reason to hack up his car and throw extra weight in the back?

then you say something like this!

Why would he need a variable nozzle? Do you need a full race suspension because you go around the corner to Burger King?

so that he can get the right exhaust pressure to start his engine. or, he can just make the right static nozzle to begin with. like i said before

or

And yet you fail to point out why he would need that exhaust

i left my prior statements general for a reason (besides the fact that i didnt know i needed to setup a thesis with appropriate supporting arguments, references, and documentation, which i will remember next time you make such a remark). there are many things about his blog and project that upset me. i was merely suggesting one route he could have taken. he could have gone several directions, instead he went the wrong way (hints the "ftl").....all i was pointing out. perhaps in the future, you could try something like this: does he have to have a variable nozzle exhaust? in which case i could have simply said no. all would have been said and done. we could have agreed and gone about other endeavors. laterz
